“O Moloka’i, He Papa Pa’ia Ole”
“Moloka’i,  Classroom Without Walls”

“Mai Loko Mai O Pule O’o”
Moloka’i of Powerful Learning

Aloha to you all……..

We are planning to take the names that we have on our list and meet  next Wednesday to review our plan and develop a proposed budget.  We will then come out with a budget plan assessment for you.  Again, we are planning on feeding you from Thursday to Sunday.  We will make our own makeshift breakfasts, and have catered lunches and dinners.

Knowing the numbers will help us determine what we can do and cannot do.   We have asked that we share rental vans and what trucks that we have.  Pancho, Tuddie, Charley and I will meet at Charley’s house on Wednesday, Feb. 6th.

If there are anyone who would like to do something specific like go trolling deep sea fishing, throw net, etc., you will let us know ahead of time so we can find you a resource person to take you.  Some have asked if they can go “behind” the island and we will try to help you make all your “Moloka’i Dreams come True”  Just send us some of the things that you want to see happen for your special experience.  (You can do anything if you got the money…….)

We were hoping that we might “stay together” for the Friday and Saturday morning events  (Thursday’s Kalaupapa Tour is optional) and then you can do other things later on in the day.   We have some other workshops that we are working on also from Haku Lei Making, Limu Picking, and it appears the tide goes up on the afternoon so trolling may come into play.  Was talking to my good friend about laying net night time outside our camp ground also.  We will be working on it.  (I am going to blind copy some of our resource people to keep them posted)

SO HERE IS OUR LIST to determine our numbers to work on our assessments.   One more thing….although we are going to have fun, please come with the feeling that you will come to embrace our island and our heritage…..Mahalo,
